My Acer Aspire E5 Isn't Charging More Than 52%.
OK, so I figure I'll redo the partition and a full format. even check power cord (adapter) and battery and confirmed ok. I did it twice thinking maybe i missed something, but nope it happened again. Delete all partitions on the HDD, until they have all merged together into a single partition. If you don't mind taking out about a dozen screws, its not that big a deal. I checked my outlet, my ac adapter, the brick between the two and the port on the laptop. or it might just be a bad unit or battery, who knows ;-) I had terrible battery life on my Inc1 and someone helped me to discover it was my pop I wonder if this one will be, that long from now?But, that's the thing. so the solution now is to buy a new charger.. This is voodoo after all. I would not place the HDD into the open tray slot, at this time.Once Windows is installed, all your drivers have been installed, etc. have a peek at these guys Windows 7 has an additional driver for the battery, and I haven't confirmed that this works for Win7 machines as well. 1- with battery installed and AC adapter plugged in, boot I talked to a couple more people and some had me uninstall the battery in device manager and then search for hardware changes. I don't understand why a 0% battery doesn't charge or show charge improvement immediately, but that seems to be the case, at least for the laptops I've been working with. However even after a BIOS update and uninstall and update of the Microsoft ACPI Battery Control Driver it is still listing as plugged in, not charging. Taking out the plug and putting it back in charges it for about 7-10 seconds, but then the charging ceases again. Acer Aspire Switch Won't Turn On It took me about 2 weeks looking for the correct laptop, and at this price im more than happy with it.
Slide it into the plug now.Snap the laptop back together and insert screws/tighten. I see it now must be locked.Please start a new posting.To budbelinha.
