Now all morning re-installing from scratch, all good so far but a real pain and time. never even thought about my mp3 player messing it up. Prior to making these changes repair attempts would only get me a black screen with a big cursor on it. Great instruction but this is good when the screen is visible. why not find out more

Some background story: I've been testing Windows 8 Release Preview since a few months back, it has been working GREAT.
