My HDD Disappeared
Having said that it's not actually the overall wattage that matters as much as the consistency of the power (power on rail) etc. It would be odd to have more than one go bad at a time, but it is something you might want to check. I have not been able to format the actual drive due to it vanishing at random times. or read our Welcome Guide to learn how to use this site. Rebooting is the only way to make the drive reappear. Also, Quicken is in general garbage on the coding level. there are 2 partition which are invisible. 1 is system reserved(390 MB) and other is Free Space (48.6 GB). Ok, I'll grant that your setup as described probably warrants a larger than average PSU. Hard Drive Disappeared Windows 8 I proceeded to start moving some files over from another smaller drive and all of a sudden in the middle of the copy the HDD just disappeared (Unable to proceed with Near as I can tell, some number of incomplete boots in a row, and windows decides something has gone wrong -- and performs a factory reset.
Any further info on this would be great especially on how and when to use these.
