This edited version can be saved as a Windows Media Video (.wmv) file which can be viewed on the computer in Movie Maker but if burned to DVD, cannot be played So I tried burning just one 30-minute recorded TV show using Media Center, and the burn was successful. Media Center asks one last time whether you want to burn the chosen clips to DVD. As I said WMP and other programs play back the files correctly so why doesn't media center? website here

Why? Software Burn Recorded TV in Media CenterI cannot burn recorded TV (recorded w/Media Center) to DVD. The MPEG-2 compression really just doesn't do it for me, and I'd prefer a MPEG-4 solution of some sort, even WMVHD would be just fine. I've retuned the stations several times to no avail.
