My HP DV6810 Laptop Won't Turn On Anymore
I have A problem â„–2 and I still didn’t solve it. Similar Topics Dropped laptop, won't turn on - help Aug 22, 2009 HP dv4000 won't turn on Jul 9, 2012 HP 6715s won't turn on Aug 14, 2009 HP TX1000z won't any solutions so far? Needless to say I sent back the standard battery and I am left with a $2000 desktop that looks like a laptop. check over here
Reply Taylor says January 5, 2017 at 6:55 pm I have a HP DV6000 and had issues in the beginning with my computer and I got it fixed and got the My brother was using it and he didn’t plug it in correctly and it ran to 0%. THey are now sending me a new battery which I imagine won’t work either. That's really not cool. try here

you move it over and push it in. It shut off and won't turn back on... Any other suggestions? I know there is nothing wrong with the battery because I used an identical battery and powerpack from an identical HP I have and the blue light does turn on....

The blue light on the front left that indicates that the computer is charging does not come on, and Windows tells me I'm running on battery power. I did everything, except updating bios(it better to say disupdate, cause i already have the lastest version of bios for my dv6500se-F22). Maybe that “balancing” issue? It is a latpop software function designed to prolong the lifetime of the battery. have a peek at these guys When I took it back to Best Buy, they sent it back to HP and gave me a store credit towards a new dv2000.
They told me they would call me up in a week. Keep cycling through power options, and then flipping it over and smacking the battery power contacts off the motherboard as fast as you can (not smacking, but without taking the whole If you have to jiggle the power input, there's an internal hardware condition that needs fixing. I have to jiggle the cord for quite a while to get it to work, and even a slight bump can sometimes cause it to stop charging again.

Since then, when I try to boot it up, its lights briefly come on and I can hear the fans spinning and the DVD drive (or maybe the hard drive?) clicking, The power supply does not provide any power at all to the laptop.
