My Computer Won't Go Into Sleep Mode Properly
I wake up the pc with the keyboard, monitor comes back on, password login screen comes back. Keeping fingers crossed. I started this site as a technical guide for myself and it has grown into what I hope is a useful reference for all. I think it has to definitely be software loading after windows is booted. weblink

This tutorial will help you figure out the problem. I think it has to definitely be software loading after windows is booted. My theory is the PC shuts down and or goes into sleep mode before the Graphics card gets a chance to 'power off' leaving it in a Limbo state.

No attitude is needed. When it won't go into sleep mode, it won't even automatically turn off the monitor.
